Mini Adventures. Big Memories.
Travel with Teens & Tweens
Mini-adventures designed for the in-between years - curious, capable, and craving something a bit more real.
Travelling with tweens and young teens has its own unique magic. They’re old enough to try new things, tackle bigger adventures and take the lead, but they’re still young enough to delight in exploring with you. These years go quickly, but they’re perfect for memory making!
At Stridely, our trips are crafted specifically for this in-between stage: active enough to challenge them, safe enough to reassure you, and full of moments you’ll actually want to share together.
Tweens and teens want more than just a holiday. They want stories and a sense of doing something properly adventurous, without being overwhelming. Our trips are designed to offer:
🌿 Real-world exploration
🧭 Just-enough challenge
🎒 Adventure with a well-earned soft landing
👨👩👧 Quality family time
Travelling with older kids can be one of the most rewarding ways to explore together - making memories that last a lifetime
Our tween and teen-friendly adventures are designed to balance freedom, challenge and fun, giving families the chance to share experiences that feel exciting, active and genuinely memorable. Here’s what makes these trips special:
Real-world exploration
Coastal paths, calm rivers, forest trails and open spaces that invite curiosity. The kind of places where kids naturally relax, switch off and start noticing things again.
Just-enough challenge
8–10km hikes daily. Calm-water canoeing. Scrambling over seaside rocks. Navigating a trail. Activities that help them grow confidence and independence, without pushing them into discomfort.
Adventure with a well-earned soft landing
Comfortable hotels, good food, hot showers, a cosy bed. Adventure by day and comfort by night. It’s this balance that keeps everyone smiling (and guarantees a good night’s sleep). And, if there’s a great hot chocolate, ice cream, or sweet shop on route, we’ll make sure you know about it!
Quality family time
Away from screens, routine pressures and the rush of daily life, conversations happen more naturally. Tweens and teens often open up more when they’re doing something - walking, paddling, exploring, rather than sitting still. If you want proper connection, get out there and Stride together!
